Gällivare PhotoVoltaic (GPV) AB manufactures solar power modules and was the first producer of its kind in Scandinavia. The factory is located in Swedish Lapland, 100km north of the Arctic Circle where tourists go to experience the pure nature. GPV ship products that contribute to a cleaner world for us and our children so the production site with its clean technology couldn’t be located in a better place.
Advanced technology is used and continuously investment in product development makes GPV a market leader within the solar energy industry. The highly efficient and flexible production means attractive prices even for small production runs.
GPV is part of the German company SolarWorld AG and has the advantage of being part of a group that produces everything from solar cell silicon wafers and solar cells to solar cell modules.
GPV has a wide range of standard modules that ranges from outputs of 75W to 190W but is also able to customize solar PV modules for special applications. The modules can be applied to structures such as small country cabins to larger building integrated multi megawatt solar energy installations in Scandinavia and the rest of the world.

During the production process the modules pass several quality control points. The last control is in a solar simulator where the modules are tested under standard conditions (STD 1000W/m²). GPV is certified in accordance with:
• IEC 61215 (TÜV Reinland)
• Safety Class II (TÜV Reinland)
• Salt misty test EN 61701 (LG)
• SS EN ISO 9001:2000
• SS EN ISO 14001:1996

This means that GPV can offer a product guarantee of 2 years and a 25 year output guarantee on all GPV’s standard products.
